Prove it!

Rangers with flame traps... we love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Personally, I carry barb, dust and spike when trapping. Flame doesn't do as much damage. Knock em down, blind em and bleed em. Now that's love.

To be perfectly honest I think they all would/will get boring eventually, I mean how many times can you use the same skills over and over and over again before it feels more robotic than skilled or fun?

I've beaten rangers, I've lost to rangers, I've beaten monks, I've lost to monks, I've beaten ele's, I've lost to eles, I've beaten mezzers (though I think my toughest opponents) and lost to mezzers and I've certainly beaten warriors and lost to warriors. Where the line comes in, is what do I like to beat them with the most. I prefer to beat them fast so I like Warriors or Elementals the best. I like lots of dps and watching that hp bar go down fast. Rangers just don't do that for me. I don't see the dps out of them like I do warriors/eles. W/Mo or Ele/Mo smite builds are a blast.

True, true... but concussive shot is quite worth a chuckle. Ele's just stand their, maybe flip their wands... gagging...

Durning eight grade i some how got landed in the advanced english class. The class was 27 girls and 5 guys me being one of the five. Having so many girls wasn't bad but the teacher was awful. She was a 5 feet tall, indian/spanish never knew, and talked in such a low tune no one could tell what she said and had to ask everyone around them what she said. If you sat in the back row like me (you didn't chose your seats) you moght as well of had earplugs. I had to ask her to repeat everything twice and always had to ask what some of the words meant which annoyed my class a lot. My history teacher was also awful. She was a very loud person 350 or so pounds (she was big nobody cared about that till track started) but she forgot everything and made mistakes a lot like losing my friends grades which dropped his grades a lot. She also accused another friend of cheating which wasn't true and dropped his grade from a B+ to a C+. But when track startedShe would yell at me about jumping higher (I was in the high jump) or yell at my friend Kieth about running faster and he had a 5:15 mile. 4th fastest in the school district. She would say just run faster. Well gee i never thought of that.

Anyways a monk wouldn't be boring but repetitive and it might suck because every one yells at you sometimes when you die.

Thanks for listening to my ranting.

IMO, mesmers are the most boring class ever. sure it might be fun in PVP cause u can piss people off like crazy with ur hexes, but theyre just way too boring in PVE. atleast the monks can use that prot/smit build and farm.

oh and also, i love rangers. theres so many different possibilities. u have so many prep skills that can modify what ur arrows do and many different arrow skills that let you work well in any situation as well.

Rangers, hands down, boring. Although the pet system is nice, but unless anet allows me to tame that Ub3r Rabbit in pre-seering... I will not be fully satisfied.

I will say this about Warriors they are meant to be around Monks and vice versa.Rangers I would say Earth Elementalists are good pair.Mesmurs and Necros are one of a kind.

That's the key phrase since pugs are too addicted to that spell and I'm in no hurry to change their minds about that.

"Blood Ritual user LFG"

And Econ is the most boring

There are no boring professions - but there are plenty of boring players. A boring player can even turn a classic build into mush.

Dumb thread. It should be titled "What class do you suck at" instead.

No, boring class doesn't necessary mean difficult to play.
Ranger is most fun, as trappers, beastmasters and bowman all very different play modes. The most boring? Elementalist, spells are all very similar, only differs in damage type and Aoe vs individual.

I found my elementalist boring. I love my healing monk, though.

Depends, I play a healing monk and in GvG I become the following;

- a huge fuzzy pink "Kill Me" target to all Tanks
- a pin cushion for all rangers
- a weather lightning rod (or firestorm) attraction for all elementalists
- a feeding toy for the necros pets

You try and tell me that a monk is boring? I spend most of my time laughing and having fun as everyone tries to take me out

Cheers

PS - I agree, this thread should be dubbed "Who makes their class borring"

Mesmers are the hardest to get in groups, therefore boring

Once you get a group together and get rolling mesmers can be pretty fun though, at least I've had fun with mine changing up targets and constantly firing off a barrage of hexes, energy burns, and just general trouble-making spells on everything I can. My first 3 characters(a W/Mo, a Mo/Me, and a W/Me) have all been dedicated, one-target-at-a-time types when attacking, so it's kinda fun for a change to be all over the place trying to keep multiple enemies distracted and damaged(or self-damaging, thank you backfire and empathy!).

Besides, the whole thing about getting a group together can be interesting sometimes too, although it's more of a "Oh god oh god, we're all going to die" kinda fun when you realize that the first group you got lasso'd into after 10 minutes of waiting is full of halfbrained incompetants and idiots.

Hey, if it works, it works, right?

I like the Ranger best. They have the most variety of the other classes, and even just basic bow attacking can be fun while you try and find the optimal place to rain down bows from.

I haven't actually found a 'boring' class yet... and I've played them all, so it must be a secret class that I don't know about. I like Elementalists for the sheer feeling of "Mwuhuahahaaaa! I'm all powerful and I'm going to nuke you!". I like Monks because they're great against Undead, and healing can be a game in itself. Warriors are just hard men, and that's always fun. Mesmers get to completely and utterly irritate their opponents. And Necromancers are just cool incarnate.
